Administrative HistoryJessica Dismorr was born in 1885. She studied in Paris at the Atelier La Palette between 1900 and 1913. She was active with her friend Wyndham Lewis' Rebel Art Centre during it's short existence in 1914 and later that year she signed the Vorticist manifesto and exhibited in the Vorticist exhibition in 1915. Dismorr held her first solo exhibition at the Mayor Gallery in 1925. She was a member of the London Group from 1926 and later, the 7 & 5 Society. Following the demise of the 7 & 5 Society, Dismorr exhibited with Abstraction-Crâeation. Jessica Dismorr died in 1939.
