| Description | Papers include correspondence, papers and notes on the publication and event of the Queel project, to commemorate the move of Chelsea School of Art to the former Royal Army Medical College, Millbank. This was curated by Clementine Deliss and organised by Colin Cina, Chelsea College of Art & Design in association with Tate Britain. The event included performances and talks by many artists over 12 hours and featured both Barbara Steveni and John Latham. Barbara Steveni did a performance with her I AM AN ARCHIVE suitcase at this event. The papers also record Barbara Steveni's proposals for an AHRB research project between O+I and Chelsea. The launch of the publication and the accompanying event was on 16 February 2002 and Barbara Steveni gave her one of her first performances of I AM AN ARCHIVE. Also includes a copy of 'The Queel: A Sequel to The Stunt', Metronome, No. 8B, for which Barbara Steveni wrote on 'O+I Art Schools of the Future' on pp.48-55. |
