| Description | 'Offer for Sale' is a work by John Latham expressing a proposal for art and economics made for the APG exhibition, ‘Inno'70: Art & Economics’ at the Hayward Gallery. It documents some of the history of APG and introduced the concept of the Delta Unit as an alternative to pound sterling. It's proposal included raising funds for APG and moving its activity into government departments. It was later shown as a display structure at The Gallery, London, 1974. Barbara Steveni’s archive includes a copy of the ‘Offer for Sale’ booklet, financial documents detailing the activities of the APG that Latham used for the work, his notes and drafts and papers relating to The Gallery show. |
