Despite letterhead, this item was sent to Himid through InIVA (International Institute of Visual Art), London. Writer is staying in a London hotel.
Originally enclosed a resumé.
Requests meeting with Himid prior to Tesfagiorgis' return to USA. She hopes to interview artists in London related to her dissertation on African diaspora in modern and contemporary art at University of Chicago. She has researched at InIVA, and will visit Tate Library and archives at Chelsea School of Art. She first became aware of Himid's work in Griselda Pollock's 'Framing feminism'.
