DescriptionInvites Himid to contribute to 'book on lesbian and gay issues in visual culture' that Lewis is editing with Peter Horne for Routledge. It develops from the session 'Coming out and coming in from the margins' at the 1992 British Association of Art Historians conference, which comprised papers on Della Grace (presumably artist Del LaGrace Volcano) and 'Modernism, aestheticism and homosexuality'. Routledge's representative is Rebecca Barden.

Lewis is also writing to Maud Sulter, and is open to a collaborative piece between Sulter and Himid.
