| Description | Also documents entitled 'To Patricia' and 'Peace' regarding painting a landscape of an allotment for Zwemmer and a proposed book, and international morals (TGA 733/1/1755 and 1756). The letters concern Patricia's dislike of Stanley seeing Hilda (TGA 733/1/1747); his time at Pond Street attempting to persuade Hilda to become his mistress (TGA 733/1/1748-1752); Patricia's demands and Stanley Spencer's attitude towards meeting people (TGA 733/1/1753); Stanley's fear that Tooth would destroy his reputation (TGA 733/1/1754); Stanley's proposed book (TGA 733/1/1755-1756); and Stanley's wish to return to Cookham and plan to pay rent to Patricia (TGA 733/1/1757).
