| Description | Miles enjoyed interviewing Himid the previous week in relation to the V&A's acquisition of four works. She has been playing the tape back in her car, even on the way to shop at Sainsbury's.
She asks about one of the four works, 'Radical activist'; Jill Morgan, no longer at Rochdale Art Gallery, and the price of 'word not found'
Originally enclosed copies of essay and interview by bell hooks from her 'Art on my mind : visual politics' (New York : New Press, 1995). She hasn't yet been able to track down Caryl Phillips' book 'The European tribe' (c 1985).
She can return Himid's slides after the museum's Hogarth show. |
