- WWOL was presented in Beijing in conjunction with United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women; the visit was partially sponsored by the Cummings Foundation
- multimedia exhibition 'Ada : women and information technology' will take pace in Artemisia Gallery, Chicago, in March 1996
- collaborating with National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington DC, to design exhibition
- premiere exhibition at Arizona State University's Computing Commons showcased video wall of participants' art animated by Magenta (March 1995)
- media coverage in North America and England
- opening of sister site 'Woolongong's World's Women Online' highlighting Australian women artists
- future creation of CD-ROM of artist information and images, to promote and fundraise for site.
