DescriptionThanks Himid for giving seminar on her 'Revenge' series in Leeds City Art Gallery on 10 October. Agrees that the hanging of 'Five' from 'Revenge' - bought by Pollock and loaned to the gallery - is 'insensitive' and sexist. She has talked to the gallery's Amanda Phillips about it, and will see Nigel Walsh.

Apologises that the image from 'Revenge' that illustrates Pollock's essay in Routledge's 'Travellers' tales' was printed in reverse. Accuses editors of 'conspiracy of ignorance inattention & stupidity'.

Requests Himid's artist's pages for the 'Generations and geographies' book she is editing. Suggests Rizzoli or Reaktion as publishers 'to really catapult you in deserved stardom worldwide'.

Her piece on 'Revenge' will probably now be published in 'Third text'.
