| Arrangement | The gift files are arranged into subseries by the surname of the donor. Many gifts are included in the main acquisitions series (TG 4/2).
Gifts declined are included in this series and are arranged into chronological sub-series which are then sub-divided alphabetically by the name of the artist. These sub-series are listed at TG 4/6/3 and TG 4/6/4. There is some overlap between the different chronological series.
A draft index to the gifts declined files has been compiled and this has been used to enter catalogue details at file level where possible. Further cataloguing work is required. |
