| Arrangement | Acquisitions and purchases declined are arranged into chronological series which are then sub-divided alphabetically by the name of the artist. The first series were called Purchases Declined and became known as Acquisitions Declined in 1965. There is some overlap between the different chronological series.
A draft index to the files has been compiled and this has been used to enter catalogue details at file level where possible. Further cataloguing work is required. |
