Notes	An undated note is included from former member of staff Martin Butlin to Stefan Slabczynski, regarding these documents (TG 18/1/1/8/9). Many of the documents include notes subsequently appended by Stefan Slabczynski. Undated check-lists of works compiled by Stefan Slabczynski are also included at TG 18/1/1/11-12
Custodial History	This documentation was discovered in 2010, in the Conservation department at Tate. The documents had been initially sorted by former Chief Restorer/Keeper of Conservation Stefan Slabczynski c1960s-1970s and possibly by other conservation staff. Therefore, the original order of the documents on discovery has been retained as far as is possible
