DescriptionPoster for Scottish Arts Council exhibition held at Fruit Market Gallery, Edinburgh. Exhibited artists listed are Robert Barry, Victor Burgin, Sarah Charlesworth, Hamish Fulton, Gilbert and George, Hans Haacke, John Hilliard, Joseph Kosuth, David Tremlett and Lawrence Weiner. This poster is the first version of Victor Burgin's work 'Possession' that he produced in 1976 for the exhibition. Later that year Burgin produced 500 copies of the poster which were bill-posted throughout Newcastle upon Tyne, this time without exhibition details.
